Chris Knowlton – Mid-Coast Regional Director (Waldo & Knox counties)

Chris, a Navy SeaBee, oversees membership networking, market building, and new farm/member building in the Mid-Coast region. Chris owns Knowlton Hill Farm with his wife, Lisa, also a Navy veteran, in Swanville, Maine. 






John DeVeau – North Regional Director (Aroostook County)

John deployed to Iraq with his unit and understands the challenges facing many of our fellow veterans in rural Maine. With John’s dedication, all veterans in the NorthRegion will find resources and help to move their lives forward with a hand up. John is founder and director of United Veterans of Maine and works tirelessly in Aroostook County for veterans in need. In addition to leading our Northern Region, he is also developing the new Farm of Hope in Caribou that will house some of Maine’s homeless veterans.



Chris Derosa – West Central Regional Director (Somerset, Kennebec, & Lincoln counties)

A native of Rhode Island and transplant to Maine, Chris served 4 years in the Marine Corps primarily in North Carolina and Japan. He is heavily involved in construction and currently oversees our Twenty-Two 2×4 cottage project. New to farming, yet highly skilled, Chris owns Ponderosa Farm where he makes maple syrup.



Arron Priest – East Central Regional Director (East Piscataquis & Penobscot Counties)


Brent Ellingwood – East Regional Director (Washington & Hancock County)


Mark Braun – South Regional Director (York & Cumberland County)
